Rugs approx. 150 × 300 cm
A long, narrow proportion that sits between a room-size rug and a runner — roughly twice as long as it is wide. It is the format for the strip along a kitchen island, a wide corridor, the floor beside a bed, or in front of a long sofa where a square rug would look wrong.
The proportion is a traditional one and turns up across several weaving traditions: Kurdish village work, Bakhtiar, Bidjar, flatwoven kilims and Moroccan Berbers are all found in it. What is in stock at any time varies, so it is worth looking rather than assuming.
