Rugs approx. 120 × 180 cm
Our largest small format and one of the two biggest groups in the collection. It is the size that works in front of a fireplace, along one side of a double bed, in a study, or as a second rug layered over a larger plain one.
You will also find the Tibetan khaden in this group. The khaden is the mat traditionally woven for sitting and sleeping on, at around 90 × 180 cm — narrower than this format, but the same length, which is why the tiger rugs appear here rather than among the room sizes. Worth knowing: on a photograph a khaden looks considerably larger than it is.
