If you live in Lohr or pass through, the simplest route is to bring the rug to the showroom. We look at it with you, tell you what it needs and what it will cost, and you decide on the spot.

A folded rug fits in any car. If yours does not, or if it is simply too heavy to handle alone, call us — for Lohr itself we will usually come round very quickly.

Collection across the Main-Spessart district

From a total rug area of 6 m² we collect from your home free of charge and bring the rug back when it is finished. For smaller rugs, we charge a small pickup fee depending on the distance. We drive the district regularly, so your rug will be picked up soon after your call or mail:

Questions people actually ask

How long does it take?
Allow around one week for a straightforward wash. Drying is the part that cannot be rushed — a rug hangs until it is dry through to the foundation. Repairs add time depending on the work involved; we tell you the date when you hand it over.

Do you only take hand-knotted rugs?
No. Machine-made rugs, hand-woven pieces, kilims, Berbers, Nepal and Tibetan rugs and fine Oriental rugs are all welcome — each gets the process that suits it.
