Large, serrated \u003cstrong\u003epalmettes\u003c\/strong\u003e are set out in offset rows across the field: some drawn in deep navy and green, others outlined in ivory around a saffron heart, and broad \u003cstrong\u003ecamel rosettes\u003c\/strong\u003e with navy or rose centres in between. A pale aqua and coral \u003cstrong\u003elobed medallion\u003c\/strong\u003e holds the centre, and a slender lattice of vines in soft camel links the whole composition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBetween the large forms the ground is scattered with small blossoms, crosses, diamonds and sprigs in navy, coral, saffron and sage. Against it stand clear accents of \u003cstrong\u003enavy blue\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003ecamel\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003esaffron yellow\u003c\/strong\u003e, with smaller notes of coral, rose, sage green and pale aqua.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe result is light and calm overall, yet the navy gives the rug a firm structure that reads well from across the room.
