A heavy \u003cstrong\u003eaubergine arabesque\u003c\/strong\u003e curves down the centre of the \u003cstrong\u003eivory field\u003c\/strong\u003e in a series of linked lobes, and within and around it sit \u003cstrong\u003eboteh\u003c\/strong\u003e in plum and sage, rose-pink palmettes, and small pale-blue fan flowers — a vocabulary closer to the Sarouk and Ferahan repertoire than to the Herati that Bidjar usually favours. The palette is correspondingly softer: rose, sage, teal, brown and lilac against ivory rather than the deep reds and indigos of the classic Bidjar.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe main border runs on \u003cstrong\u003esalmon red\u003c\/strong\u003e with a rosette-and-leaf vine, framed by narrow maroon guard stripes carrying a linked-cartouche chain.
