On either side, \u003cstrong\u003earched medallions\u003c\/strong\u003e with beaded outlines stand against the ground, and small ivory cartouches with navy figures, coral blossoms and diamond lozenges are spread between them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe drawing is open and airy, with generous space around every element, so the ground itself carries the room.
