Paulig Salsa Base Flatweave Rug
90 × 180 cm · Red
A handwoven wool flatweave from Paulig, woven in Morocco — colour 113, red.
Paulig
The handwoven wool flatweaves from Paulig are woven in Morocco, in a contemporary palette. The Salsa Base collection is Paulig's signature handwoven flatweave — a dense, voluminous texture made to be walked on. The yarns are spun from finely colour-mixed fibres, giving the surface a quiet depth that flat single-tone weaves cannot achieve.
Reversible Use
The Salsa Base weave is reversible — both sides can be used as the top surface, so the rug can be turned from time to time to even out wear. The yarn is wool spun around a jute core, so the visible surface is wool; the overall composition is 60 % wool and 40 % jute. The short sides are finished with a sewn-on selvage instead of fringes.
Presence in the Room
At 90 × 180 cm (1.6 m²) this is a focused accent format in colour 113, a saturated red. Suitable for entry zones, bedside placements, or as a colour anchor in a modern interior.
