The Ocean Silk line is a Djoharian Design original — hand-knotted in Nepal in a contemporary composition of silk and wool with a distinctive high-low texture. The surface reads like still water at twilight: turquoise depths warmed by brass and copper accents, with the silk catching light and the wool absorbing it. This is a quiet piece for confident interiors, where the texture rewards both the eye and the hand.
Presence in the Room
At 250 × 300 cm (7.5 m²) this is a large room-size designer rug. Three contexts in which it reaches its full effect:
- Contemporary living room: Beneath a sectional or generous sofa, the high-low surface and silk-wool palette establish a calm contemporary foundation.
