Hand-knotted rugs from every part of the collection — Persian, Moroccan, Tibetan, vintage and antique — currently offered below their usual price. Each is a single piece, so when one goes it does not come back.
Why a rug ends up here
Worth saying plainly, because “sale” in the rug trade is often a permanent condition and we would rather you knew which of these applies:
- The last of a size run. A design sold well in three sizes and one format is left over.
- A colour that did not find its room. Nothing wrong with the rug; the palette simply moved on. Greens and strong yellows sit here longest.
- Documented condition. Some antique and vintage pieces have a repaired area, a reduced end or uneven pile, described and photographed on the product page. Priced accordingly, and often the best value in the shop.
- Discontinued designs from our own production, where the pattern is no longer being woven.
- Long-standing stock. A rug that has been with us for years and should be in somebody's house instead of on our shelf.
What does not happen: nothing here is a second, and nothing has been reduced because it turned out not to be what we said it was. If a piece has a fault, the fault is in the description.

Before you order
Two things worth doing with a reduced piece. Read the condition notes on the product page properly — on an antique they are the reason for the price. And if the colour matters, ask us for a photograph in daylight or a short video call on WhatsApp before you decide; a screen never quite tells you what a wool surface does in a real room.
