Rug Cleaning Prices

All prices per square metre, including VAT. What a rug costs depends on its material and condition, not on its origin or its value. Below is the full list — the same one we quote at the counter in Lohr am Main.

Repairs

Holes, moth damage and reweaving are quoted individually, because no two are alike. We look at the piece, tell you what is possible and what it will cost, and you decide.

Collection and delivery

From a total area of 6 m² we collect from your home and return the rug free of charge throughout the district of Main-Spessart, and in Würzburg and Aschaffenburg. Below that size we charge a small collection fee depending on the distance.

You are equally welcome to bring the rug to the showroom at Ludwigstraße 21 in Lohr am Main. A folded rug fits in any car.

Water and fire damage

Rugs soaked by burst pipes or affected by smoke need immediate specialist treatment and accelerated drying. These cases are billed by time and effort rather than by the square metre. We prepare written estimates for insurers.

What is included in every price

• Inspection and a firm quotation before any work starts
• Hand washing with lanolin-replenishing detergents, matched to material, age and condition
• Rinsing until no detergent residue remains in the weave
• Controlled drying — spun in a specialist centrifuge, then hung in a ventilated room until the foundation is dry
• Final inspection before return

Allow roughly a week for a straightforward wash. Drying cannot be hurried.
