The handwoven wool flatweaves from Paulig are woven in Morocco, in a contemporary palette. The Salsa Base collection is Paulig's signature handwoven flatweave — a dense, voluminous texture made to be walked on. The yarns are spun from finely colour-mixed fibres, giving the surface a quiet depth that flat single-tone weaves cannot achieve.
Salsa Base — Modern Living Texture
The Salsa Base structure is flat enough to work under dining furniture, yet retains a soft, full underfoot feel. The weave is reversible — both sides can be used as the top surface, so the rug can be turned from time to time to even out wear. Salsa Base is available across the full Salsa colour palette and can be produced in custom sizes up to 600 × 990 cm.
